The Giraffe

During this summer i went to Knowsley Safari Park and Chester Zoo, knowing that I could get some photographs of animals which would give me inspiration to do some more drawings. Whilst in Knowsley I photographed many animals including a giraffe which i felt i could draw and create an interesting piece using water colours.

I started by doing a simple pencil outline of the giraffe but keeping the background simple and light.

Using the ''Gradient Map Tool'' I was able to create different pieces using simple colours which i felt worked well.
